The Merrymead Family
Located in Worcester Township, at the heart of Montgomery County, Merrymead Farm is a family owned and operated working dairy farm and farm market. We specialize in producing & processing milk on-site with the freshest milk from our own holsteins. Merrymead is one of Pennsylvania’s Century Farms and has been in the same family for over 100 years. Now in our 5th generation, our farm is managed by Us, the Rothenberger Family (currently generations 3 & 4) . We proudly opened our doors to the community in July 1971 and the Farm Market has grown over the years. We are open year-round with baked goods from our country bakery, seasonal items in our outside market, and premium homemade ice cream!
Our Mission here at Merrymead is to make lifelong family memories just like our family has done for generations here at the farm. Whether enjoying an ice cream cone at our picnic tables or taking a scenic hayride in the Fall, any family is sure to enjoy God's creation here at our farm.
The Rothenberger Family and a dedicated staff of full-time and student employees all play an important roll in preserving the family legacy. But because of the support of the community, who through the years have shown much appreciation by making us a part of their family traditions, they have enabled us to keep our farm open for all generations of families to enjoy.

Dairy Quality
Registered Holstein cows supply the National Quality Award Winning Milk - which is processed, packaged and sold on the premises, along with buttermilk, heavy cream, and half & half.
Highlights of Merrymead
A farm for all seasons, includes a large selection of locally grown bedding plants, local produce, local honey, beef & pork products, and course our homemade ice cream cakes. With so much more to taste from our country bakery we take special orders for pies or other baked goods you see from our market. Place your order for a fresh, never frozen, Turkey for Thanksgiving or Order a Stoltzfus Spriral Ham for Christmas. Starting the weekend after Thanksgiving, come stroll through our Christmas trees and pick out a beautifully decorated wreath. The farm animals and farm market are open to visitors year round!
