Looking for the perfect fresh cut Christmas tree? Merrymead provides beautiful fresh cut local fir trees – Douglas, Fraser, and Concolor Fir. All our trees can be drilled for the Stand Straight tree stand. We will shake, bale, and load your tree- all you have to do is pick out your favorite one! Starting Thanksgiving weekend you can stroll through our forest of trees! Our holly house is filled with a variety of wreathes – Balsam, Douglas Fir, Mixed Noble Fir, and Fraser Fir. Rolls of white pine roping and a mixture of swags, greens, door charms, cemetery sprays and holly are perfect for the Christmas season.

While celebrating Christmas be sure to include Merrymead’s old fashioned Eggnog – it is smooth and delicious with just the right amount of spice. Merrymead’s ice cream specials for December are peppermint stick, eggnog, and rum raisin.

For Christmas, reserve a Weaver’s Fresh Turkey! Merrymead sells fresh, local, all natural turkeys- never frozen, with no growth hormones or artificial ingredients. Fresh Baked Pies and Gourmet Pellman’s Desserts are available.

Live Nativity with narration and song is presented by a local church the weekend before Christmas.

Two shows on Saturday December 17 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM and one show on Sunday December 18 6:30 PM.

Setting takes place outside, so dress warm!

Tuesday February 21st 2012 is Fastnacht Day. We take orders for fresh cider donuts or the traditional Pennsylvania Dutch Fastnacht’s to have fresh baked donuts waiting for you!
