Easter season is a great time to stop by for our delicious old fashioned Eggnog and local chocolates made by Bergin’s and Asher’s!

Our blooming market is a busy place in spring and summer. It opens at Easter time with a variety of spring plants. We have everything from hyacinths, tulips, daffodils, pansies, primrose to geraniums and early blooming hanging baskets. Get started in your garden with the arrival of our cold veggie plants, terrific tomato plants (heirlooms included), herbs, bedding plants, perennials, and specialty annuals! Our plants come from state of the art greenhouses that use environmentally friendly sustainable techniques to provide us with excellent quality plants.

We also offer Lancaster’s County’s finest bagged mulch and soils.

Merrymead invites you to visit the farm animals and observe the cow milking from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM daily. Farm animals include baby chicks and ducklings in the spring, cows, baby calves, sheep, bunnies, peacocks, goats, llamas, and “Harley” the hog.
